On November 1st 2009 at 2:00 a.m., you set the clocks back an hour.

Set your clocks and computers back 1 hour at 2am Sunday or before bed on Saturday night.

Several computer programs have mistakenly reported the time change to be on November 2nd, so check your computers to make sure all your scheduling programs are correct. 

Many people were confused about when the Daylight Savings Time change 2009 was to occur. Many people thought that it was set to occur on October 25, but that was not the case. November 1, 2009 is the time for the "fall back" period of the Daylight Savings Time change.
